Become Someone

At the age of 4, a life-altering car accident left me with a T10 complete spinal cord injury, paralyzing me from the belly button down. The same accident claimed the life of my foster brother and severely injured my foster father.

My journey wasn't just about physical challenges. Growing up as a Black child in a wheelchair in a predominantly white neighborhood, I faced verbal abuse and discrimination. At 7, I lost my biological mother. By 10, I battled life-threatening infections, and at 14, I underwent three back surgeries.

The cumulative weight of these experiences led to severe mental health struggles in my teens. I grappled with self-harm, addiction, and suicidal thoughts. But through it all, I found my path to healing. With the support of my adoptive family and an inspiring mentor, I discovered my purpose: to help others overcome their challenges.

Today, I'm committed to sharing my story and inspiring others to take control of their lives. Through sobriety, mental health care, and honoring my biological mother's memory, I've transformed my pain into purpose. My mission is to travel the world, lifting others up and showing them that they too can become someone, regardless of their circumstances.
